2084: A Diorama of The Future at Milan Design Week 2024
Designed by MAIA college students of the Division of Inside Structure, HEAD – Genève, 2084, Diorama of the Future is an architectural hypothesis on the challenges of the post-Anthropocene period. The situation offers with the reconstruction of a close to future through which some cities are submerged, whereas others endure excessive situations, direct penalties of the local weather emergency. Showcased at Milan Design Week 2024, the set up transforms elements of the historic annexes of Villa Bagatti Valsecchi right into a dynamic and performative diorama inviting guests to replicate on up to date environmental and societal dilemmas. The camp, the Nap, and the Deal with define 2084’s surroundings
Three tasks developed by MAIA college students of the Division of Inside Structure, HEAD – Genève, inhabit the set up.
First, the Camp. The torrential rain, the elevated publicity to numerous waves, and, above all, the scorching solar pressured them to give you a tent that was as protecting because it was transportable.
