The Brooklyn-based producer and designer has been a frontrunner within the American furnishings manufacturing trade for the previous decade. For the Collaborative Sequence, the model is tapping into these relationships and flexing their very own inventive abilities in tandem with ceramicists, industrial designers, and artists. The inaugural version options furnishings made with Danny Kaplan, Pat Kim, Michele Quan, and Stillmade’s founder and inventive director Paul Mignogna’s personal design apply, Mignogna Studio. This version of the mission features a couch, credenza, hutch, aspect desk, and two espresso tables that mix every collaborator’s aesthetic with Stillmade’s design and manufacturing capabilities. The 4 furnishings collections additionally embody the qualities the model holds shut: a reverence for artisan craftsmanship and an understated, fashionable aesthetic.

Celebrated industrial designer and artist Pat Kim launched a playful, sculptural strategy to Stillmade’s design course of. Danny Kaplan’s espresso desk was impressed by Roger Capron’s ceramic inlay tables. Kaplan designed a set of tiles that sit atop Stillmade’s minimal strong wooden desk base, including an natural geometry and texture to the bottom’s clear aesthetic. The juxtaposition of the desk’s angles paired for the rounded and oval-shaped tiles create a gorgeous visible.

Clifton Couch, Mignona Studio
